The Alfred R. Ketzler, Sr., Alaska Native Land Claims Settlement Collection includes correspondence, material from Native Rights conferences, notes, and related material assembled by Alfred R. Ketzler, Sr., and others. The bulk of the correspondence and conference material dates to 1962 and 1963. Correspondence from that period is mainly between the Alaska Native Rights Association (Kay W. Hitchcock, Sandra Jensen, and Grant Newman) and the Association of American Indian Affairs in New York City (LaVerne Madigan and Henry Forbes) supporting the work of Ketzler and other Alaska Native leaders.
